OLive leaf-spot disease, studied by representative surveys, occurs on all olive groves of the region of Mirandela. Disease incidence and severity is higher on lower parts of canopy and at North and East directions. Fungus conidia are always present during the season with two main periods, November-Dezember and April. Defoliation by olive leaf-spot was in 1998 very important, with 80% of leaf-fall on two year twings
