Structural policy of the EC comprises economic, social and ecological aids, realized by various means. With reference to farming structure the stimulation of agricultural land concentration and capital assets (legal, institutional and economic), decreasing the number of persons employed in agriculture and changes in farming systems are provided. Structural funds are used to support the rural development, especially in relation to professional improvement, changes in occupation and infrastructure of these areas. Such activities deal with the EU support policy for associated countries, too
