Rainwater Harvesting and Supplementary Irrigation

ACSAD and IFAD jointly organised this Workshop to discuss the topics of the use of water harvesting for supplementary irrigation and the use of simulation models and computer software for the evaluation of runoff, and the socio-economic aspects of water harvesting in the Arab world, and modern developments in irrigation technology and flood water harvesting. Country reports from nine Arab countries were presented as well as reports from several experts and ICARDA.
