This contribution evaluates the influence of a long-term watering onto the evolution and the changes of the content and the composition in the top - and lowsoil of Calcaro-calcic Chernozem under agroecological conditions of the Danube plain (Slovak Republic). This problem was not studied to a greater extent under the conditions present in Slovakia yet. During 7-year research were obtained new results about the positive influence of the watering and a controlled nourishment of the cultivated products onto the evolution and the changes of the parameters characterising content and composition of humus in Calcaro-calcic Chernozem. The watered variants had a more favourable humus substances quality. The fractional composition was dominated by the fractions bound to calcium which are the decisive ones for the forming of the water-resistant structural soil aggregates
