Impacts of expected climate change on soil water content

Monthly averages of available supply of water of 1 m soil layer were estimated in 3 meteorological stations of Slovakia (Hurbanovo, Nitra and Prievidza) for the period covering 1951 to 1980 as well in time frames of the years 2010, 2030 and 2075 using a mathematical model, based on the mutual solution of both energy and water balance equations. Climate change scenarios for air temperature and humidity, cloudiness, precipitation and a number of days with snow cover were determined in accordance with the modified scenarios of changes in the above-mentioned meteorological elements for a CCCM variety of General Circulation Models
