In field trial in steel intra-rings in period of two experimental years dynamics of available phosphorus in Chernozem (pH/KCl = 5.9, CaCO3 = 0.5%) after autumn and spring P-fertilizer dressing was studied. Experimental crop was maize (corn), its harvest was implemented in full maturity. Autumn P application took place in October. Spring application of N and P was in April (after 1. soil sampling). Rates of potash applied and urea were uniform. After spring P-application (April, after first sampling) was available P-supply in soil, in identical sampling term substantially higher than after autumn application, in June approximately 30% and July 70%. Phosphorus fixation and release dynamics in soil is variable by the years, however the changes ascertained by us in available P corresponding with superphosphate dressing term, exceed normal annual this nutrient movement in soil. They significantly can affect supply of available phosphorus in soil in certain growth stages of a crop, what can be utilized particularly in less fertile soils
