Study on rate of rock phosphate fertilizer for 90-1 juice cane was done at Suphan Buri Field Crops Research Center in 1992. Four rates (50, 100, 150 and 200 kg/rai) of rock phosphate were used with 24 kgN and 12 kgK2O for every treatments. Replacing for rates of rock phosphate with 0, 6 and 12 kgP2O5 from triple super phosphate were other three treatments and also 0-12-12 was another used in the experiment. There were no significant difference in stalk number, cane yield, degree of brix in juice, cane size, among treatments, However, application with 150 kg/rai of rock phosphate gave a tendency in increasing cane yield, cane size and degree of brix in juice and while 0-12-12 gave the lowest cane yield due to the lowest cane size. Rate of N and P influenced on N and P concentration in cane. N concentration in cane increased when low phosphate was applied and P concentration increased when non-nitrogen was applied. Cane with higher N concentration would have a lower degree in brix.
