Split plot design 4 Replications study on the effect weight of rhizome 50-70 gm., 30-49 gm and less than 30 gm at spacing 75*50 cm, 75*40 cm, and 75*30 cm on yield of Curcuma longa Linn. was conducted at Packhong Research Station. Nakhonrajchasima during May 28, 1993 - January 27, 1994. Number of plants 3 months after planting weight of rhizome 50-70 gm had highest average of 3.01 and 6 months of 50-70 gm weight of rhizome had highest average number of plants in all spacing, but spacing 75*40 cm had 7.13 number of plants. The hight of plant 2 months and 6 months after planting all size of rhizomes and spacings were 37.00-38.93 cm and 111.03-114.48 cm respectively. The mean for percent of flowering big size of rhizomes had high average percent of flowering more than small size of rhizomes in all spacings 82.5, 70.3 and 46.7 respectively 50*70 gm weight of rhizome which planting at 75-30 cm had highest number of average flowering 90 percent. Spacing 75*50 cm all weight of rhizomes had high everage yield weight per plant. The rhizome 50*70 gm with spacing 75*40 cm was the best average yield 535.418 gm.
