Effects of supplementation of synthetic enzymes and mixed organic acids in simple and complex early weaned pigs diets

Effects of dietary supplementation of synthetic enzymes and mixed protected organic acids were studied in 56 weaned piglets aged 3 weeks. The animals were divided into 7 groups of 8 piglets each and randomly fed experimental diets as followings until 8 weeks of age. Diet 1: Complex-1 control diet; Diets: Complex-2 control diet; Diet 3: Complex-1 control diet + 0.2 percent synthetic enzyme; Diet 4: Complex-2 control diet + 0.2 percent synthetic enzymes Diet 5: Complex-1 control diet + 0.2 percent synthetic enzymes + 0.2 percent mixed organic acids; Diet 6: Complex-2 + 0.2 percent synthetic enzyme + 0.2 percent mixed organic acid; and Diet 7: Simple diet + 0.2 percent synthetic enzyme + 0.2 percent mixed organic acids. The results of the study have indicated that performances of pigs fed experimental diets are not statistically significant different. However diets containing both synthetic enzyme and mixed organic acids tend to give better performances of the pigs than those on the other diets. Simple diets supplemented with synthetic enzymes and mixed organic acids give a similar performances to those on the complex-1 and 2 diets.
