Comparative study of cultivation methods was observed in conventional methods namely hilling up and no hilling up at the pegging stage resulted in protecting from subterranean ant infestation. For a hilling up at the pegging stage of peanut the farmer could obtain the yield higher than that of a no hilling up. Number of damaged pod of the treatment without hilling up was a little bit less though the damaged pod weight was more than that of the hilling up treatment.
