[Scientific substantiation and the development of a technology of public catering products of radioprotective effect]

The following chemical and food substances have become the objects of the study: ferrocyn, sodium alginate, wheat brans, pectin, an apple powder, flower pollen, a calendula cryopowder, the algal powder elamin, wheat germs, the grain products "ECO" and food compositions "Bioeliminator-1" based on the products listed. The study is carried out to substantiate and to develop rational technologies of public catering products with the properties mentioned and to compile radioprotective diets of therapeutical and prophylactic purpose which meet to up-to-date requirements of nutrition science. As a result of the study, more than 300 recepies of the radioprotective dishes are developed and approved. These dishes are introduced at the enterprises of food industry in the regions which suffered from the Chernobyl catastrophe. Daily food sets for therapeutical and prophylactic nutrition of Chernobyl NPP's workers are approved by the Public Health Ministry of Ukraine and introduced at the ChNPP's zone of allienation
