Genetic variability and inheritance area and angle leaf of maize (Zea mays L.)

The aim of this paper was to investigate genetic variability and mode of inheritance of leaf area, leaf angle and grain yield per plant in inbred lines and their hybrids. Also, interdependent between those traits, were analysed. Genetic variability was consolidate between observed inbred lines. In all hybrid combinations, superdominance was recorded as a mode of inheritance in leaf area and grain yield per plant. It was founded few different models of inheritance in expression of leaf angle, those were intermediary, partialdomination, domination and superdomination. Leaf area and leaf angle were in very light correlation, the same correlation was founded between leaf angle and grain yield per plant. Dimension of leaf area has big influence in expression of grain yield per plant.
