The influence of the elements in mineral water on the selenium content in yolk

The research has showed, that the selenium in soluble state results in better absorption in yolk, because in the status the selenium can be better resorbed in duodenum and in small intestine of the hen, which were watered with water of increased mineral content. It has been supposed, that the electrolites from water influenced the selenium resorption from the food, and its absorption was increased doubly in yolk after 58 hours treatment, but at the end of the experiments it was triple in reference to the control group.
