Soybean yield, as well as the oil and protein content, depends on varieties, but significantly vary under ecological influences, especially on humidity. Soybean is a high yield potential plant, created on bigger or smaller number of nodus pods on different parts or heights of the stalk. Researches were performed with six different most sawn varieties in Yugoslavia, durinig 1998 amd 1999, in order to prove the influence of ecological condition to soybean yield and seed quality on certain parts of stalk. These researches proved that different conditions, especially humidity, provide unequal yield and seed quality in certain stalk parts. Optimum humidity conditions (1999) provided biggest yield in high stalk parts (60 cm and higher) at almost all varieties, on contrary to dry conditions in 1998, when highest yield was achieved at lower and middle stalk parts.
