Application of selected forms of production functions in sugar beet production [Yugoslavia]

In Yugoslavia there are realised high results in increasing of sugar beet yield per area unit. The use of mineral fertilizers, which is important agrotechnical factor, is too, very important factor of influence on the increase of the yield. This fact is confirmed by many experimental and production results. The investigation, in this study, showed that the increased sugar beet yields could be realised by more rational use of mineral fertilizers. The investigation of more rational use of mineral fertilizers, in this study, are based on the models of quadratic and "3/2" production functions.
