The rate of genetic difference between parent breeds of 4 silkworm moth hybrid forms were studied for the indexes of intracocoon unevenness and intracocoon concordance of the silk filament. The rates of genetic difference between hybrid forms were measured by identifying the minimum number of genes by which parent breeds differ in terms of indexes studied. It has been established that the minimum number of genes by which parent breeds of silkworm moth hybrid forms differ in terms of the index of intracocoon unevenness of the silk filament varies within I and 2 and for intracocoon concordance-within I and 4. The changeability of the genetic patameter defined is explained with gene expression, influencing the indexes studied, resulting both from their interaction and the different response of separate genotypes to the environment.
