Technologies of environment protection from negative impacts of animal production (Review)

This analysis is a continuation of the study no. 3/1998 - "Effect of animal production on environment quality" that investigated favourable and especiall unfavourable impacts of animal husbandry on environment and economical, legislative and educative instruments of its preservation. The study is assembling findings from contemporary scientific-based technologies and is also mentioning the experience with their application. These technologies not only limit the negative impacts of animal husbandry, consisting in its load by nutrient excess and gaseous immissions, but in many cases even valorize its waste products. The study is arranged into three basic subject fields: technology of controlled optimum feeding of domestic animals, technology of applicable faecal waste management and technology of limiting gaseous immissions and smells.
