Experimental investigation of press-unit obstruction

The following apparatus was used: flow rate gauge (turbine) and pressure gauges connected with data logger Multi-Practic 3000 for recording the oil flow rate and pressure in different points of the high pressure pipes. Clamp multimeter MX240 recorded the power consumption. The tests showed that the testing instruments are suitable and may be used. If the dung layer is relatively thin (60 cm) and moist (w=86,2 per cent), the resistance of pressing the layer downwards is remarkable. In case the glutter is fully loaded, the maximum resistance for the machinery exists in the layer downwards pressing phase. The tests have to go on for the deeper layer and thicker manure
