It was studied the effects of the light and water content of artificial diet rearing on the growth and development of silkworm, Bombyx mori L. The results showed: Treatment with 16h light and 8h dark in rearing period was suitable to the silkworm growth; 68-72% of water content in artificial diet is suitable
