In April forty test-customers visited five outlets of each of the eight retail chains chosen for the survey. The survey had a twofold aim: 1, see how helpful sales assistants were; and 2, explore shopping through the eye of a child. Tested outlets were randomly selected, but findings are not conclusive due to the relatively small number of test-customers.
