To study the possibility of rising work efficiency of rice harvesting work by introducing farm-road-turning form (use farm road for tuning = F.R.T.), the working time was compared with standard-turning form (turning in the field = S.T.). The working strokes used for this comparison had been admitted at field investigation. And to study the effective way of farm land consolidation, the total turning time of F.R.T. simulated by the different working stroke was also compared with S.T. The results arc as follows; 1) The average timing time at head kind work (t2') of F.R.T. is shorter than that time (t2) of S.T. as t2 includes the threshing time of beforehand harvested rice. So, to make short the total turning time of F.R.T, the average turning time of return works (t1') of F.R.T. must be shorter than [4n/(a-1+2m)] (t2-t2')+t1, as "a" is the number of return work stroke, "m" is the number of turning on the farm road opposite an entrance point. 2) The combine can be gone out from anywhere of the both short side of the field at F.R.T. So, moving time of F.R.T. will be shorter than S.T. 3) As the filling rate of combine's grain tank can be raised up at F.R.T, the number of grain discharge per unit area will decrease. So, the time for grain discharge of F.R.T. will be shorter than the S.T
