The conditions and subjects of vegetable farming succession

The number of working days needed to manage an operation exceed 100 days for farmers managing vegetable farms over 1 hectare, for managing fruit and nut farms over 2 hectares, and for 30 per cent of the farmers managing vegetable facilities over 20 ares. Much of the work on these vegetable farms is concerned with the manual operations associated with the growth control of the crop. Therefore, it is necessary to have young bearers who have practiced technical skills. The following points were made clear about the working persons in three vegetable farms and the management behavior of the young farmer successors. 1) Future employment motives, and the degree of the recognition of things such as sociality, were examined. The process of the succession and the method of choice for organization management also were examined. 2) The pattern of family farm reorganization to an enterprise management system through the introduction of employment manpower was examined. A proper working scale, the new working methods, and personal management such as a part assignment were examined. 3) The contents of the development of new technology by the successor for management to grow, and the technological training were examined. This paper also examines how, from now on, it will be important to establish a working method for the division of labor in vegetable farming around the management successor, the need for the maintenance of the working conditions at the general enterprise level, standard wages by generation, and working contents
