In the present study epifauna and epiflora of oyster species (O. nomades, C. belcheri and C. gryphoides) was studied from Buleji, Keamari and Hub River Delta. The epifauna included organisms like barnacles, polychaetes, bryozoans, coelenterates, spiunculids, tunicates, bivalves and gastropod egg masses. Barnacles and Polydora spp. were the most abundant epifaunal organisms. A greater number of epifaunal organisms were found attached to the oyster shells obtained from Buleji and Keamari compared to Hub River Delta. In all twenty two species of algae were present on the oyster shells from Buleji and Keamari, Jania adherents and Cantenella impudica were the most abundant species.
