Modern system of waste landfill liners - changes in European guide-lines concerning landfills

Growing interest in geosynthetics, used in construction of modern waste landfills, such as: PEHD liners, bentonite liners, drainage, fibration and protective geotextiles bas been observed in EC countries for more then 10 years. EC recommendation defining requirements concerning waste landfills, resolved in April last year, foresees possibility to use technical alternatives by realization of linear system. In the paper below advantages and disadvantages of different systems has been discussed
