In this work it searched to do an identification and characterization of the explorations type, producing of milk of bovine, in the Agrarian Region of "Beira Litoral", tends in bill, a group of data picked up in the Department of Statistics and in the "Centro de Estudos da Quinta de Loreto" of "Direccao Regional de Agricultura da Beira Litoral", picked up data of publications of the "Instituto Nacional de Estatistica" and a group of criterions defined and considered adjusted in face of the data and of the available information. It was verified, in a general way, that the agrarian explorations of this Region present an enormous heterogeneity, inside and out of the some ones, of there that it has divided the Region in three great zones, mountain zone, intermediate zone and coast zone
