Dermatophytosis are iiness that locate themselves in skin, hair and nails produced by Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton gender fungi. The treatment of this ilness proup is done since with conventional antisseptics to imidazoles derivaties. And in the Noriheast region of Brazil, a great number of vegetal species have been studied, they are widely used into skin infection treatments such as: Althea rosa, Lantana camara, Laurus nobilis, Peumus boldus and Turnera ulmifolia. Their essential ous Nave been teste in vitro for antifungal activity evaluation over 16 dermatophytoes vines isolated from patients with dermatophytosis. The A. rosa, L. nobilis and T. ulmifolia essential produced excellent activity over the assayed dermatophytes, producing inhibition halos with more than 20mm diameter
