The influence of broilers nutrition on meat quality

In the feed experiment with 267 heads in 4 grpups of Hybro broiler chickens were observed the fattening characteristics and chemical composition of breast muscle. The experiment was finished in the age of 42 days. Broilers were fed experimental feed mixtures HYD-01, HYD-02, HYD-03 with different ratio of components and additives. The best results were achieved in the group of chicken what were fed of feed mixture with higher content of mineral premix, fish meal and alimet. Average live weight was 1681.83 g, feed conversion 2.07 kg, carcass yield 77.64% breast weight 338.33 g. Based on chemical analysis of broilers breast muscle we found out significant differences in the ash and protein content in relation to the age of chickens and nonsignificant according to different composition of the feed mixture
