The contribution analysis the production of proteins of animal origin for human nutrition. The present world production covers the need of 8 milliard people at the consumption 20 g edible proteins of animal origin. The consumption of nutrients for production depends on the type and intensity of production. With high production intensity mainly of pork and poultry meat are consumed 65-80% plant nutrients which are directly consumable for man. In the years coming it is expected that the transformation of plant nutrients to animal proteins will have to be provided with feeds which cannot be consumed by man directly
