Concentration of methemoglobin in the blood of roe deer

In the years 1987-1997 within hematological examinations of roe deer 384 individuals of both sex were examined for the concetration of methemoglobin in blood. These examinations were conducted on model localities where the health condition of game has been monitored on long-term scale. Game was divided into 8 independent sets that were statistically assessed including conclusive differences at the level of significance (p-0.05). The results show various concetration of methemoglobin in the dependence on the age of roe deer (C. capreolus L.)
