Two cultivars of soybean CM 60 and SJ 5 were studied for determination of the electrical conductivity (EC) value and the pH value of seed exudates. Significant correlations were found among cultivars, initial seed qualities and number of seed lots. The EC value of seed exudate of CM. 60 was highly responsible test than SJ 5. The soybean seed germination and field establishment showed an negative correlation in EC value and positive correlation in pH value. The soaking of 50 seeds in 100 ml of distilled water for 24 h. at 25 deg C was found optimal condition for examining seed quality of both cultivars by EC value of seed exudates. The SJ 5 cultivar showed more significant in EC value of seed exudate for soaking 75 seeds in 100 ml of distilled water for 24 h at 25 deg C. The pH evaluation of SJ 5 seed exudate was examined by soaking 75 seeds in 100 ml of distilled water for 16 h at 25 deg C and possible for CM 60 seed exudate was evaluated by soaking 50 seeds in 80 ml of distilled water for 16 h at 25 deg C.
