Influence of the factor of movement on reproductive and productive parameters in pregnant dry cows

The effect of daily movement on reproductive and productive parameters in pregnant dry cows was studied. The experiment was carried out with 50 pregnant dry cows of Black-and-White breed. The cows were allocated into two groups: 1st-group - control, 2nd-group - experimental. Indoor maintenance of animals was carried out under identical ecological conditions, with an identical regimen and ration of a feeding. The cows of experimental group were made to walk without grazing daily distance at 3700 m. It was established that the factor of movement during dry period of the cows pregnancy renders positive influence on a system of reproduction and on a productivity of animals: independence period decreased, percent of fertilization at the first insemination increased, the time between two calvings decreased, the milk productivity imploved.
