This work updates the present knowledge of the recorded 35 species of Conopidae in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. It includes a complete list of the 35 native species as well as their synonyms; a compilation and a reflection on the plants visited by the adults Conopidae in Belgium; a summation and a short analysis of the direct observations of the Conopidae-parasited species of Hymenoptera in Europe; a table showing the flying period of the imagos, and for the most common species one presents a graph showing the sex ratio; keys of identifiaction as well as a short comment on each species are given; the geographic area of each species is represented by a map; finally a map showing the summation of the data
