Study on the preservation terms of nondiapausing silkworms (Bombyx mori L.) eggs at low temperature

The preservation of nondiapausing silkworm eggs at a temperature of 4 degree C for 20, 30 and 40 days was studied.It was established that the preservation of nondiapausing eggs of the polyvoltine race Bonde 517 and bivoltine race KK at a temperature of 4 degree C for 30 days does not reflect negatively on the average values of the indexes studied, namely: cocoon and cocoon shell weight and raw cocoon yield per one box of silkworm eggs.
