Training as a part of preparation of participants in regional development to utilise the EU pre-structural and structural funds

The main aim of this paper is to recommend steps to be taken for improving the effectiveness of preparation of individual regional development actors in the field of their successful participation in the EU regional and structural policy. The partial aims of the paper are to specify the subject matter of training as the means of preparation for utilisation of structural and cohesion funds, recommend changes in the structure and form of presented information, and emphasise on the importance of active implementation of the acquired information in practice.
