Fenamidone is a new active ingredient against downy mildew on vine and early blight on potato. Several formulations are developed for vine in order to fit to specific areas and growth periods. They allow, when necessary, the free choice of a tank mix product for powdery mildew. Fenamidone has to be limited in the downy mildew program with similar mode of action products and alternated with other products. For potato, the fenamidone formulation replaces the classic contact products, providing improvements for efficacy on foliage and tubers, and for rainfastness, at a lower dose rate
