Effect of saline water through drip irrigation system on inceptisol under tomato

The 5 dSm-1 saline water treatment indicated highest pH value 8.41 for 0-15 cm soil depth and 8.38 for 15-30 cm soil depth. The ECe increased from 0.98 to 2.16 as salinity increased from 0.21 to 5.0 dSm-1 at 25 C. The Na+ was lowest in SW treatment (8.22 meL-1 for 0.15 cm soil depth) and highest saline water in 5 dSm-1 saline water treatment (0.81 meL-1 for 0-15 cm soil depth). The 0.21 dSm-1 treatment indicated lowest concentration of Mg2+ were observed of 6.73 meL-1 for 0-15 cm soil depth and 19.30 meL-1 for 15-30 cm. soil depth.
