The bias of technological change is caused by differential rates of change in the marginal productivites of factor inputs. The importance of measuring the technological bias stems from the fact that is measures which factor of production produced relatively more through technological change. Cross-sectional data were used in investigate the nature of barley production technology in Jordan.
