The effect of harvesting age and felling cycle on the regerative capacity of each bamboo species in pilot plantation were evaluated in terms of culm and biomass yield. The study also aimed to determine appropriate technologies and management practices to optimize bamboo productivity on a sustainable basis. Statistical analysis showed that felling cycle significantly influence the culm production of kauayan tinik but harvesting age and interaction had no significant effect. The average number of culm harvested from kauayan tinik for seven consecutive years, subject to harvesting age and felling cycle was eight culm for three sampling clumps and 10 culms for those harvested every two years. There were eight culms harvested from clumps harvested after three years. Nine culms were harvested from clumps harvested after four years and 10 culms from clumps harvested after five years. The average culm diameter ranged from 5.46 to 9.42 cm. The biggest mean diameter was observed in clumps harvested at 3-4 years of age regardless of felling cycle. The smallest was produced by clumps harvested at five years of age and above. Statistical analysis showed that harvesting age significantly influenced the culm diameter of kauayan tinik but the felling cycle and their interaction did not. Kauayan kiling clumps harvested every year had more average number of culm produced at 9.49 compared to clumps harvested every two years with 5.67 culms. Statistical analysis showed that annual harvesting significantly influenced culm production of Kauayan kiling. Culm diameter of kiling subjected to different harvesting regime ranged from 4.30 to 8.45 cm. The biggest average culm diameter (6.75 cm) was observed in bamboo harvested annually, while those harvested every two years produced smaller culms (6.43 cm)
