Indian agriculture industry, comprised of public and private sector, lead to Green Revolution. Total estimated Indian seed industry of $920 million has almost equal share of public ($450 million) and private ($470 million) sectors. Growth rate of Indian seed industry, during the past 12 years, presents an average growth of 23% annually. In future strategies, huge public sector R & D infrastructure, can complement the private sector to utilize technologies of genetically modified or transgenic hybrid seeds to further revolutionize Indian Agriculture Green Revolution, public and private sector hybrid seeds
