This paper evaluates the economic performance of existing farming system in corn-based agroecosystem of the Manupali Watershed in Lantapan, Bukidnon. It determines the resources availability, productivity, profitability, sustainability of the existing farming system and identifies the principal constraints in the farming system faced by the farm households. Both primary and secondary data were utilized in the conduct of this study. Four barangays [vilages] were chosen and represent the Corn-base Agroceological Zones categorized as high (over 800 m above sea level (asl)), medium (500-800 m asl), and low elevation (below 500 m asl), respectively. Simple random sampling technique was employed in this study. Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was employed to test the significant differences among means of group variable under study. Simple accounting techniques were employed to analyze the profitability of corn production. The findings indicate that there is no significant difference in yields for open-pollinated varieties (OPV) and hybrid corn across elevation. Hybrid growers realized relatively higher yields (3.88-4.10 t/ha) from the elevated farms than the medium and high elevated farms (2.79-3.25 t/ha). Both full cost and cash cost estimates revealed a higher profitability for low elevated farms than medium and high elevated farms
