The main objectives of the article are to describe the monitoring network for the observation and evaluation of occult precipitation over the Czech Republic, to work out the statistical analysis of the occurrence of the individual types of the occult precipitation in the selected mountainous and urban areas of the Czech Republic, to characterize the chemical composition of the fog/low cloud water and water collected from the hard rime sampled in the selected mountainous regions of the Czech Republic
