Study on the bovine respiratory syncitial virus infections in Bulgaria

145 materials from internal organs, nasal, ocular and from calves, hifers and sheep with respiratory infection were investigated virologically by means of ELISA as well as the attempts for isolation on cell culture were done. The results obtained showed the wide spread of the infections, caused by bovine RSV in the country and the possibility for multiple species circulation and migration among the large and small ruminants. The results provide ecological contibution of the virus in series respiratory enzootics in bovines.
