[Potential of Trichoderma harzianum, Pseudomonas fluorescens and zeolite for sclerotium disease pressing, growth increasing and production of soybean]

The aims of this research were to know the capability of T. harzianum, P. fluorescens which was combined with zeolite application in suppressing sclerotium wilt disease, increasing the growth and production of soybean, to know the difference of inhibition of T. harzianum, P. fluorescens and zeolite application in suppressing sclerotium wilt disease, increasing the growth and production of soybean. And to know the effect of T. harzianum, P. fluorescens and their interactions in sclerotium wilt disease. The experimental design of this research was factorial Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) which consisted of three factors. The first factor was T. harzianum pellet with the doses of 0 g/pot (t0), 41 g/pot (t1), 61 g/pot (t2), 81 g/pot (t3). The second factor was P. fluorescens treatment which consisted of control (P0), seed submerging with P. fluorescens suspension (P1), and P. fluorescens infestation of suspension in soil (P2). The third factor was zeolite which the consisted of control (Z0), 5 g/pot (Z1), 10 g/pot (Z2), and 15 g/pot (Z3). There were 48 treatments with three replications as block the variables observe were disease intensity, population of S. rolfsii, population of T. harzianum, number of side branch, number of roof nodule, weight of fresh pod, weight of dry pod, and number of dry pod. The result showed that both antagonist T. harzianum and P. fluorescens which combined with zeolite possess different capability to control sclerotium wilt disease. Interaction of T. harzianum pellet with zeolite showed better capability than the interactions of P. fluorescens with zeolite. Interaction of T. harzianum pellet in soil with the doses of 41 g/pot, 61 g/pot, and 81 g/pot showed to suppress sclerotium wilt disease. The dose of 81 g/pot T. harzianum pellet has the best capability to suppress sclerotium wilt disease, and increase of growth and production of soybean. The best treatment combination of T. harzianum pellet with P. fluorescens to decrease S. rolfsii population was by infesting in soil. Zeolite could be used to decrease the T. harzianum antagonist potential and decrease S. rolfsii population infestation of 15 g/pot zeolite and yellow red podzolic (ultisol) soil showed the best capabiliy in decreasing S. rolfsii population

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan T. harzianum dan P. fluorescens yang dikombinasikan dengan penambahan zeolit dalam menekan penyakit layu sklerotion, peningkatan pertumbuhan dan produksi kedelai, mengetahui perbedaan penghambatan kedua antagonis setelah dikombinasikan dengan zeolit dalam penekanan penyakit layu Sklerotium, peningkatan pertumbuhan dan produksi kedelai, dan mengetahui T. harzianum, P. fluorescens dan interaksinya yang baik dalam mengendalikan penyakit layu sklerotium. Rancangan percobaan yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok Faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah pelet T. harzianum yaitu tanpa pelet T. harzianum (T0), 41 g/pot (T1), 61 g/pot (T2), dan 81 g/pot (T3). Faktor kedua adalah P. fluorescens yaitu tanpa P. fluorescens (P0), pencelupan benih dengan suspensi P. fluorescens (P1), penyiraman suspensi P. fluorescens dalam tanah (P2); Faktor ketiga adalah Zeolit yaitu tanpa zeolit (Z0), 5 g/pot (Z1), 10 g/pot, dan 15 g/pot. Semuanya ada 48 kombinasi perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan diulang selama 3 kali. Variabel yang diamati adalah intensitas penyakit, populasi sclerotium rolfsii, populasi T. harzianum, jumlah bintil akar jumlah cabang bobot basah polong, bobot kering polong, dan jumlah kering polong. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua antagonis yang dikombinasikan dengan zeolit mempunyai kemampuan yang berbeda dalam mengendalikan penyakit layu sklerotium pelet T. harzianum yang diinteraksikan dengan zeolit mempunyai kemampuan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan P. fluorescens yang diinteraksikan dengan zeolit. Pelet T. harzianum 41 g/pot, 61 g/pot, dan 81 g/pot mempunyai kemampuan menekan penyakit layu sklerotium dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Pelet T. harzianum dengan dosis 81 g/pot (T3) merupakan kelakuan yang paling baik dalam menekan penyakit layu sklerotium, meningkatkan pertumbuhan produksi kedelai. Pelet T. harzianum dengan dosis 81 g/pot dan P. fluorescens yang disiramkan kedalam tanah merupakan kombinasi yang terbaik dalam menurunkan populasi Sklerotium rolfsii. Zeolit secara umum dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan potensi antagonis T. harzianum dan menurunkan S. rolfsii. Pemberian Zeolit sebanyak 15 g/pot pada tanah podsolik merah kuning mempunyai kemampuan yang paling baik dalam menurunkan populasi S. rolfsii
