[Chemical control and MLG-716 using as thrips resistant varieties for reducing loss harvest on mungbean]

Английский. The research was conducted at Muneng Research Station in dry season of 1999. The treatment was arranged in split plot design with 3 replications. The main plot was variety that consist of two levels (the resistant line to thrips, MLG-716 and Betet), the sub plot was control method that consist of five levels: P0 = without insecticide; P1 = use maize as barrier crop; P2 = application of lamda sihalotrin; P3 = p1 + p2; P4 = application of sipermetrin. Insecticide application was based on monitoring system by recommendation dose. Observation was done to the damage of thrips, pod sucker, pod borer, and yield of mungbean. The result showed that MLG-716 is resistant to thrips and has higher yield than Betet, so it could be used as the thrips resistance parent. Application of lamda sihalotrin and sipermetrin were effective to control pod damage. The use of maize as barrier crop increased the affect of lamda sihalotrin in reducing pod damage intensity caused by pod sucker. MLG-716 could be used as the one of the IPM component because of its resistance, safe and cheap

индонезийский. Penelitian dilakukan di Inlitkabi Muneng pada musim kemarau 1998. Penelitian disusun dalam rancangan petak terbagi (Split plot), tiga ulangan. Petak utama terdiri dari dua macam varietas (galur tahan thrip MLG-716 dan varietas Betet) sedangkan anak petak terdiri atas lima macam cara pengendalian; P0 = tanpa pengendalian, P1 = penggunaan tanaman jagung sebagai tanaman barier, P2 = penggunaan insektisida lamda sihalotrin, P3 = P1 + P2, P4 = penggunaan insektisida sipermetrin. Aplikasi insektisida didasarkan atas pemantauan ambang kendali dengan dosis anjuran. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap tingkat serangan thrip, penggerek dan penghisap polong serta hasil dari seluruh plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MLG-716 merupakan salah satu galur yang tahan terhadap hama thrip dan memiliki potensi hasil lebih tinggi dari varietas Betet, sehingga diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai tetua tahan untuk hama thrip dan berdaya hasil tinggi. Penggunaan insektisida lamda sihalotrin dan sipermetrin cukup efektif untuk mengendalikan hama perusak polong. Penggunaan tanaman jagung sebagai tanaman barier meningkatkan efektivitas lamda sihalotrin untuk menekan tingkat kerusakan polong akibat serangan penghisap polong. MLG-716 dapat dipakai sebagai salah satu komponen pengendalian, karena tahan terhadap hama thrip sehingga menghemat biaya pengendalian dan mampu menekan kehilangan hasil kacang hijau serta aman bagi lingkungan
