Response of three lentil genotypes viz. Masoor-local, Masoor-85 and Masoor-93 to foliar application of Ca plus Mg in different concentrations (100, 200 and 300 mol m-3) was studied on a sandy-clay loam soil at the University of Agriculture. Faisalabad for two years. The results revealed that cultivar Masoor-93 on account of better fruiting potential and higher 1000-seed weight gave the highest seed yield of 1146 kg ha-1 against 779 and 713 kg ha-1 for Masoor-85 and Masoor-local, respectively. Among the foliar treatments, application of Ca plus Mg at a rate of 300 mol m-3 produced significantly the maximum seed yield of 944 kg ha-1 against 803 kg ha-1 in control. Beneficial effects of Ca plus Mg application as foliar spray at floral initiation on the yield of lentil have been observed in the present study.
