Productivity of the leguminous plants and their mixtures with grasses

The results of the latest investigations on the yields of red and white clover as well as alfalfa are presented in this paper. The work presents also the yields of mixtures of the above plant species with various grasses. Both kinds of grassland (pastures and meadows) use are considered. The effects of cutting time, number of cuts, quantitative composition of the mixtures of the leguminous plants with grasses and tle level of nitrogen fertilization on yields and the crop mass quality of the mixtures are also discussed
