Dependence of reproductive performance on the level of Large White English blood admixture in Large White Polish boars

A comparison of the effect of various levels of Large White English blood admixture in boars shows that the greatest number of piglets was born by sows after boars without LWE admixture. The sows also reared most piglets. Concerning these two traits, the litters without LWE admixture differ high significantly from other litters
