An attempt was made to evaluate and to compare the level of technical infrastructure in rural communes of Rzeszow region, south of Poland. The survey covered such infrastructural elements as water supply and sewerage systems, gas supply network, electric energy supply and telecommunication; their development tendencies within 1995-98 were also characterized
