Agronomic and qualitative effects of potato fertilization by agro solanum on medium heavy soil were compared in 1999-00. An increase of the marketable yield by 7.6 percent and big tubers yield by 20.2 percent in comparison to traditional fertilization was observed. The occurrence of hollow centre and rust internal spots was less frequent in potato fertilized by agro solanum. The agro solanum caused increase an starch, potassium and magnesium content and decrease of nitrite quantity
