Removal of natural organic matter from water using anion ion - exchange resins in the static conditions

High content of organic matter in groundwater from locality of the Zrenjanin town (Serbia, Serbia&Montenegro) makes it unrequired water supplying of this region. A study was carried out of the NOM removal by ion - exchange resins in the static conditions and for obtaining desirable drinking water quality. Chosen resins in the experiments were: IMAC HP 555, IMAC HP 661, AMBERLITE IRA 402 Cl. AMBERJET 4200 Cl and AMBERLITE IRA 900.
